Venue

The workshop will take place at Technische Universität München, Arcisstr. 21, 80333 München, Germany.
We will be in room 0790. The room is on the ground floor. The easiest way to reach this room is via the side entrance at the corner Theresienstraße/Arcisstraße.

Getting There

By Air

There are two possibilities to reach Munich Center from Munich Airport:

  • Lufthansa Airport Bus
    • The bus departs every 20 minutes from Terminal 2, Terminal 1 Modul A, Terminal 1 Modul D and München Airport Center (MAC).
    • Get off at the bus stop "Hauptbahnhof / Main train station".
    • The travel time is approx. 40 minutes.

By Train

  • Veranstaltungsticket
    • For participants traveling by train within Germany, the Technical University of Munich offers in cooperation with Deutsche Bahn a so-called "Veranstaltungsticket".
    • The ticket costs 99,- Euro (2nd class) and is valid for one return journey from any train station in Germany to Munich and back.
    • Get off at the stop "München Hbf".
    • You have to book the ticket by phone under the phone number 01806-31 11 53 citing the code "UNI BAYERN" or online unter https://www.bahn.de/Veranstaltungsticket.

Public transport

  • U-Bahn (subway)
    • From the stop "Hauptbahnhof / Central Station" the U-Bahn line U2 runs every few minutes to the Technical University of Munich.
    • Get off at the stop "Theresienstraße". From there follow the map to the Technical University of Munich.
    • Alternatively, you can also walk from "Hauptbahnhof / Central Station" to the Technical University of Munich.
