4th joint SIG 3D and OGC workshop on the CityGML Utility Network ADE and
1st joint CityGML Energy ADE and CityGML Utility Network ADE workshop - Karlsruhe (Germany), 6-8 December 2017
Aim of the workshop
Besides the CityGML Utility Network ADE, the CityGML Energy ADE has been developed within the past few years.
As both ADEs deal with similar areas of application we consider it important to bring together the working groups of both ADEs within a joint workshop
- to discuss topics relevant to both ADEs,
- to discover possible points of intersection and
- to find ways to harmonise them.
Thus, in contrast to the previous CityGML Utility Network ADE workshops we will this time not only focus on the Utility Network ADE but will have a special session dealing with topics relevant to the CityGML Energy ADE as well.
This joint workshop provides an opportunity to gather requirements, ideas, suggestions, and positive as well as negative experience from CityGML users, data producers, software vendors, and scientists developing and using both, the CityGML Utility Network ADE and the CityGML Energy ADE.
Agenda and Addressed Topics
- December 6: Energy ADE workshop
- December 7: Joint Energy ADE and Utility Network ADE workshop
- December 8: Utility Network ADE workshop
The detailed agenda will be provided early October here: Agenda of the Karlsruhe workshop.
The workshop will take place at EIFER, the European Institute For Energy Research in Karlsruhe, Germany. Further information on the venue can be found here: Venue.
